BYD Dolphin officially launched in Thailand

With a starting price of 699,999 baht

Available in two variants: Standard Range and Extended Range

BYD Dolphin has been officially introduced in Thailand, with a starting price of 699,999 baht. It is available in two variants, Standard Range priced at 699,999 baht and Extended Range priced at 775,000 baht. The Standard Range variant offers a driving range of 301 kilometers (NEDC) while the Extended Range variant offers a driving range of 405 kilometers (NEDC)

The BYD Dolphin is a compact electric hatchback that was first unveiled in China in 2021. It is based on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 and features an electric motor with a peak output of 177 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. The Dolphin is equipped with a 44.9kWh battery pack in the Standard Range variant and a 60.5kWh battery pack in the Extended Range variant.

Both variants are equipped with a host of features, such as a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and a 360-degree camera. The Extended Range variant also features a panoramic sunroof and a heated steering wheel.

BYD Dolphin is the third model to be launched in Thailand by the Chinese automaker, following the ATTO 3 and the HAN EV. BYD plans to launch three more models in Thailand in 2023, including the SEAL, the TANG, and the SONG PLUS.
